Tips on Crates for Dogs

Crates should never be considered a substitute for diligent training and supervision. The need for safety and shelter is but one of a dog's needs. If these are not appropriately addressed, crating may only create new problems. Buy a crate the appropriate size. Your dog should be able to stand up, turn around, and lie down. Some crates have partitions that can 'grow' with the pup. This is HIS personal space and should feel comfy.
